WHY IS IT SO DARK?

We are living in a time of darkness like never before. Do you know, the Bible speaks of this darkness? The Prophet Isaiah called it “gross darkness” upon the people that would cover the earth (Isa 60:2).

None can deny, there has never been a time in which we have seen so much darkness, not just because of what we see on the news and the fears of what Russia will do next. But we also see it in the hearts and the minds of people, that do not know what to believe.  Everything has become suspect of truth, truth is doubted everywhere, and yet people will believe anything they want to believe.

I believe it is because people’s faith has been darkened until they cannot believe.

That is darkness! And it is the grossest of darkness that is in the earth today.

However, the same prophet Isaiah said, there would also be light, and that light would be the glory of the LORD.  The wise will find it, just as the wise man followed the star and found the Light of the world, Christ as a young child.

Isa 60:1-2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

It has been said, it is the darkness time of the night, just before the morning star appears to bring the dawning of a new day.  That is where we are today!

The three quotes that follows come from the sermon titled “SHALOM” preached by William Branham on this subject in January 1964:

“…It's darkness upon the people, but it's ‘Good morning’ to the Church. Christ is appearing among us. ‘Shalom. Peace.’ Hallelujah! ‘Shalom’.”

“…The darkest before day, is because the light is pressing the darkness. But the morning star comes out and says, ‘Good morning. Shalom’.”

“…The great day is fixing to break, when the morning breaks Eternal, bright and fair, when His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the sky. When the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there. Our names are on His Book, we'll be there. ‘Shalom. Good morning. Peace be unto you’.”
