WHO IS MARKED FOR SIGHING & CRYING

Ezek 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

There was a vast difference in those who sighed and cried because of the sin in the land and the ones that did not, and a MARK that identified the difference.

THE MARK

The mark was a sign, for us today, and a example. Similar to; the sprinkling of the blood of the paschal lamb on the lintels and door-posts of the Israelites and was, a notice to the destroying angel what house he should spare. This came to the Prophet in a vision without a translation. In God's judgments, He will make a difference between the innocent and the guilty, between the truth and the false.

55-0312  THE.SEAL.OF.THE.CHRIST_  LOS.ANGELES.CA  -  I want to ask you something. If that same Angel came to the city, which was the Holy Spirit, dressed in white, like to His purity. If that Angel come to this city tonight and went through the Pentecostal churches, where in the world would he find men that sighs, and cries, and begs all night long in prayer for the abomination that's done in the city. Who would he mark? We're going to find out who's got the Holy Ghost pretty soon. Sighing and crying... - WMB

And do you know, as I said the other night, people, we better check upon our experience. For the Holy Ghost is only going to anoint in the last days those who sigh and cry for the abomination that's did in the city.

Today we can shout; we can scream; we can speak with tongues, have signs and things, but where is that sincerity of so sincere about the Word of God and the--the Church of God until it grieves our heart to see sin going on. And Elijah had come into all of this. - WMB

The sigh and cry for the abominations that's did in the city... Where do you see that? I can show you ten thousand speaking in tongues to one that's really burdened for sin... That can't even pray a hour. But did you know the Bible said to mark only those who sighed and cried for the abominations in the city? How many ever read it? Sure. That was the Holy Spirit come forth to mark the people, and said to the destroying Angel, "Go forth and destroy everything that doesn't have that mark upon them." And the mark of God is the Holy Ghost; is a Seal of God.

Now, where is them people that's that interested? I can show you people that jump up-and-down and cry in a church; I can show you people that shout and run all over the building; I can show you people that prophesy, and it comes to pass; I can show you those who speak in tongues, and--and run up and down the buildings, and say things that actually interpret and it comes to pass; but where is that person that sighs and cries for the abominations that's did in the city? Where's that burdened soul? You could turn some new leaves on that. See what I mean? - WMB

I like what Charles Spurgeon said in regards to this: "Our very sighing and crying are proofs of heavenly life and salvation."

HOW DO WE SIGH AND CRY AND WHY?

To sigh and cry, is the final stage of condemnation. And is not loud, and angry, demanding change to those that reject truth and except the false.  However, as it was with Christ, His condemnation to those that rejected Him on the Mount of Olives was not loud and angry, but atoning. There was nothing left to do.  Is that the condition of the CHURCH today?  The difference is to be clearly marked, one for life, the other judgment.

This was the subject Sunday morning (2-25-2024) titled "Knowing the Truth & Rejecting the False" archived on our church website and it can be viewed below this post.
