THE NEWS WE READ IS PROPHECY BEING FULFILLED
We are all interested in what is going on in the Afghanistan right now. Where will it all lead and how will it end? In the sermon William Branham preached titled; MODERN EVENTS MADE CLEAR BY PROPHECY, he tells us how the unfolding of national, and political events have been already wrote in the Bible, Jesus spoke of them, the prophets prophesied of them.
We see strange and unusual natural events, earthquakes, signs in the heavens, and plagues on the earth. There is strife between the nations, wars and rumors of them, violence in the streets and Sodom conditions unfolding in the hearts and minds of so many people. The world is going completely insane. (Matthew 24, Revelation 6:12-17)
There is to be according to prophesy a complete lack of respect for authority, women completely leaving behind the image that God created them to be and children ruling over their parents. There seems to be no truth in the mouths of those that claim to tell us what we should or should not do. Can anyone know or even speak the truth today? (Isaiah 3:12, 2 Thessalonians 2, 2 Timothy 3)
There is something else that is prophesied that many are missing, it is not the godless countries of Russia or China that we should fear, but a religion, ROME, that is prophesied to rule the world and bring about a mark, a religious mark that will seem to solve everyone’s problems. (Revelation 17, Daniel 7:7)
WHAT DID WILLIAM BRANHAM (1909-1965) SAY ABOUT IT?
William Branham said this; “THUS SAITH THE LORD. Repent. I predict three curtains. In the Name of the Lord, there's one called the Iron Curtain, which will be Russia. Watch Red China. That'll be the Bamboo Curtain. They're horrible, but watch that Purple Curtain that's rising in the United States and over the world, the Roman Empire, the cruelest of all of them.”
This will be religious power, more cruel than anything you have seen yet. The whole world will be deceived, except for those who have their names in the Lambs book of life from the foundation of the world! (Revelation 13)
What are we to do? Make sure your name is in His book and then walk in the light of God’s Word that has come in our day. How do I know my name is in the Book? Because you believe the truth when you hear it, it is part of what you are from the beginning. If your name is in the book, you cannot be deceived, because you are elected and predestinated to believe the truth. All others go in the tribulation.
2 Thess 2:13 “But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.”
I am watching for the coming of the glad millennial day,
When our blessèd Lord shall come and catch His waiting bride away.
Oh! my heart is filled with rapture as I labor, watch, and pray,
For our Lord is coming back to earth again.
