PERSONALITY CULTS

The Apostle Paul, as the Prophet Messenger to the first church age, addressed the troubled Corinthian church.  So many things needed correcting; morality, gifts, and the church leadership were completely out of proper order.

I believe it is clear the biggest problem was the last I mentioned.  They were making man their supreme leader and by it becoming carnal.  This caused divisions, envy, strife and a false sense of being more spiritual than others, when it actually made them carnal (walking after the flesh, being babes in Christ).

PERSONALITY CULTS

This produced personality cults within that which was the MESSAGE of the day.  The Apostle included himself in the names of personalities that the Corinthians were looking at in a carnal way, "who had the greatest leader."  Everyone seems to want something or someone greater than the other.

The Prophet Message to this first age quickly, in the first chapter of 1 Corinthians, corrected this church.  And I would like to say right here; this should be a truth that the end-time Church (Bride of Christ) realizes and understands.

However, I am afraid many have fallen into the same error as the Corinthian church?

THE APOSTLE PAUL AND SCRIPTURE

Read what this Apostle to the first church age said in correcting this problem; 1 Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

TO US TODAY

Always remember, the Message we have received must point us to the glory of Christ and His presence alone. It may seem too some as weak and small, but will be the manifestation and the transformation of the Presence and Glory of God into humble hearts. This will not be found in a certain geographical location or some social media platform, but all over the world the Spirit is moving, in the hearts of a little people, who can receive it.

To God be the Glory!
