Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Jesus speaking of His coming how that many will begin to be weary of waiting for him and even though assurances are given that God will avenge his own elect, yet, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? The question implies a strong denial: No, He will not; He himself foresees it. This is spoke of those living at the time of His coming, not those that have already gone on to their reward.
WHAT DOES CHRIST ASK, AND WHO DOES HE ASK?
Of all things Christ would ask, He ask will there be "faith on the earth" at His coming. There is where we live today! I believe scripturally He will find only a few, many have forms and fashions of godliness but few with true faith, faith in what God has said to THIS GENERATION! These days will be the most perilous.
Preach the old time Word, the way it has come to us in the final age of the Church and what happens? You will walk alone and you will not be popular. We live in a generation that does not walk in true faith. A generation that is looking for a new outpouring, a greater move of God than what has already been revealed and has brought an awakening to the rapture for those that can except it. Jesus is saying He will find few that have faith concerning this at His coming. However, the lack of faith in the church today has not made the promise of God of no effect.
THE ELIJAH OF MALACHI 4
That is what Malachi 4 was to do, restore the FAITH of the children to the fathers. Not build the biggest church, have the best preacher, the biggest crowds, or to be constantly affirmed that we are the greatest.
Quote: And He never said, “Will I find tithes people?” He never asked that. “Will I find good religious people?” He never asked that. He said, “Will I find faith when I return?” That’s it. Faith is the thing; can’t find it. People profess to have it, but their lives prove they haven’t got it. You know them by their fruit.
