WHY DO I BELIEVE THE MESSAGE AS GIVEN BY GOD’S PROPHET TO THIS AGE?
Rev. William M. Branham (1909-1965) has had a special place in my life and I believe in the lives of many others. Yes it is true, there have been great men like Luther, Wesley and many other reformers that God has used to stir the hearts of believers. Men which desired to restore truth to the people through the ages of the church. It is the truth of scripture that brings freedom to those who can accept it.
God has always had men with truth since the days of the Apostle Paul, they struggled to keep the Word straight and to keep it pure as it was given in the New Testament according to the scriptures. But much truth had been lost because of miss-translation, denominational barriers, and interpretations of man, and simply because it was not the time for a complete restoration as promised by the scriptures. A restoration which would have to come by a Prophet (Mal. 4:5-6, Revelation 10:7), not a reformer, not a great teacher, not a theologian, or a group of educated men?
WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE?
It would come as a restoration of what has already been wrote in the Bible, not to write another book or to start another denomination of men. It would be a vindicated message that would tie together those things that anointed men of God preached through the ages. Not a new revelation, but the proper interpretations of the truths that have already been brought to the church by reformers, in their efforts, to bring the church back to the original truth as it was preached and wrote by the Apostle Paul. This would be a message that would take the confusion away and liberate a people for the rapture.
CALLED OUT OF DENOMINATION CHURCH
I grew up in a great denomination of the Pentecostal church, my father was a pastor, I loved my denomination – it birthed me to the Gospel. However, when the light of this age crossed my path, even though there are many things I do not understand, this message from God, as delivered by God’s Prophet took my confusion away. That was fifty years ago, how could I ever go back to my former denominational ideas when truth has come and given me a foundation which I cannot be shaken from.
WHY I BELIEVE?
This is the most wonderful message, which opened the Bible to me, a Bible which I believe is the only book given by God for redemption. A book that completely reveals Jesus Christ as God!
That is why I believe the message as it came to me through the ministry of Rev. William Branham, and I believe it as he said many times in various ways; “Oh, it's a great plan until it comes to that last angel [Rev 10:7]. Now, he has no certain mystery, but he gathers up all that's been lost in them other ages, all the truth that was not truly revealed yet, as the revelation come. Then he reveals those things in his day.”
