WHY ARE SO MANY GOING BACK TO A PENTECOSTAL AGE PAST?

One of my fears is seeing people, ministers and churches that should know better,  looking back to a previous church age that is past.  So many are looking back as if things were greater with Luther,  Wesley or the Pentecostal restoration of the gifts.

What can be greater than the long-awaited return of the Word,  which is Christ living among us to produce - a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle,  or any such thing (Eph 5:27).  A people that possesses the Token, which is the literal Life of the LORD Jesus Christ on the earth again.  This is a life that is manifested in everyday living, not just at church or special camp-meetings, but in real life with real people.

This is the greatest time of all ages for the church, the Bride of Jesus Christ.  It is the time we meet our Beloved and He meets us in the air. And that with all the Saints through the ages as they come up in this great and glorious resurrection.

Why are so many looking for something else?

When I came out of the Pentecostal movement, it was the "Message" that called me out,  "Come out of her my people."   I think people are going back because they have never truly moved forward and following preachers that have no foundation.  Though they heard the VOICE they never really heard the "Message of the Voice."   They have chosen a denominational crowd and are led by something other than the Holy Spirit - thinking it is a great move of God.

In the sermon titled COUNTDOWN,  A prophet to this final generation made the following statement.
“You are an astronaut.  You’re going beyond Luther.  Luther doesn’t believe in it all. Wesley laid on hands.  The Pentecostal anoints in oil.  You’re an astronaut, gone beyond any reasoning.  Just because the Word said so, I’m going on. Well, you say,  ‘Didn’t Luther believe?  Wasn’t that the Word?’  Yeah, but Wesley went on above him.  ‘Well, Wesley anointed with oil or something another.  Don’t you believe that?’  Yes, that’s right. ‘The Pentecostal cast out devils.’  Yeah.  ‘Laid hands on,  had healing in hands and everything else.’  Yeah, I know that’s right but go on.  Go on!  Wesley doesn’t look back to Luther;  Pentecost doesn’t look back to Wesley.  Neither do we look back to Pentecost.  We’re astronauts.  We’re beyond that. Let’s go on. Christ said so!”  - Rev. William Marrion Branham
