DO YOU HAVE PEACE?

As I begin my day, what a peace I feel.  It is a peace that surpasses all understanding, and floods my soul with happiness.  I suppose, there is not enough words in the English language to describe this peace. That tranquil state of the soul which is assured of salvation through Christ, and fearing nothing from God and being content with my earthly lot of whatever sort that is.  This is a abiding peace the world knows nothing about.  Because it does not know the Prince of Peace.

WHAT IS PEACE?

This peace is not the absence of war or strife.  Nor is it without disappointments, sickness and problems, that every human faces.  It is a peace that in spite of those things; will garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, the peace of God, is present in the midst of the most terrible storms of life, knowing I am safe and secure in the hands of the all sufficient, always present, and Almighty God.  What a peace!

WILLIAM BRANHAM

William Branham said it like this, in a sermon titled, THE UNITY OF ONE GOD IN THE ONE CHURCH; "But a man might not even have a pillow to press his head to; he might not even own a decent pair of shoes, or able to have a decent meal in his house; but if God reigns in his heart, he goes to bed happy and wakes up happy. It's a lasting peace. It's something that God does."

THE WORLDS IDEA OF PEACE

The worlds idea of peace is incomplete.  If we have no more wars, we will have peace.  If all disease is scientifically illuminated in all nations and the poor are made equal to those that have plenty there will be peace.  Laws have been passed to eliminate racial prejudice and make it illegal to discriminate against others, but has it given peace?

If we could have peace without God, don't you think we would have achieved it by now, or at least come close to it.

It has been said, "peace is the ability to sleep in the storm!"

Our peace does not hinge on the world creating its own peace.  The world doesn't give peace, because it doesn't have any peace to give.  Even though it fights for it, and negotiates to have it.  While the globalists and international community continue their pursuit of peace, there will be no lasting peace without Christ.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.

A PERSONAL OBSERVATION ON A WEDNESDAY CHURCH NIGHT

I will make an observation for today, as I begin to prepare for tonight's service.  I think of the nature of the dove, a peace loving bird.  That is why, when Christ was Baptized, the dove came from heaven and identified Him; the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

The lamb has a similar nature to the dove, and the dove would not settle where there is no peace.  The dove also represents the Holy Spirit, and tonight in our midweek service, even though we have lived and worked in an un-peaceful world, the dove will come, and give us rest and a peace the world knows nothing about.

I am looking forward to speak God's Word as we worship in simplicity together tonight.
